Nespresso Original pods vary in price depending on the blend and quantity. Typically, prices range from £0.39 to £0.53 per pod. For the most accurate pricing, select one or more coffee capsule items to compare or visit your nearest Boutique.

At Nespresso we offer a wide range of exciting offers and promotions for both our Original and Vertuo customers. Additionally, if you have already purchased a Nespresso machine, you may be entitled to redeem your welcome special offer including coffees.

Nespresso Original pods are best enjoyed within 12 months from the production date. Each pod is sealed for freshness, ensuring you get a perfect cup of coffee every time, even if it's been a while since you bought them.

We seal each blend in recyclable aluminium capsules to protect the freshness and aromas of our coffee for a long time. Two dates are indicated on each sleeve: the production date and the date of consumption. We ensure the freshness consumption up to 12 months after the date of production. The best before date is however not the expiration date as the coffee is not a perishable product. This date is recommended for obtaining the best results in a cup.

Nespresso does not have any plans to add tea or hot chocolate pods to our selection. We offer Limited Edition and flavour blends throughout the year.

Our foremost priority is sourcing the highest quality coffee beans and providing exquisitely unique coffee experiences to our members worldwide. In addition, Nespresso Original Line machines are carefully calibrated to brew the perfect cup, time after time. They would not be ideal for steeping tea or making hot chocolate.

Nespresso coffee pods are made from aluminium, which is infinately recyclable. Nespresso has partnered with the Royal Mail to offer you two free and convenient ways to recycle. Arrange a collection from home or drop off at one of the 14,000+ Royal Mail locations. You can also recycle your capsules in any of our boutiques or through Podback kerbside collection in selected postcodes. Find out more at our coffee pod Recycling page. After collection, the coffee pods are taken to a specialist reprocessing plant in the UK to separate the packaging from the used coffee grounds. The coffee grounds are used to create soil improver and renewable energy. The aluminium will be transformed into new products such as beverage cans.

Nespresso Original pods are not compatible with Vertuo machines. The Original and Vertuo systems use different brewing technologies designed to optimize each unique coffee experience. For Vertuo machines, we recommend using the dedicated pods.
